It's A Small World at DisneylandI am alive. I just don't know what to write anymore. But I do check here daily and read everyone's post but without commenting. I'll probably leave comments after Friday when I'm done with my finals.
I celebrated my twenty-first birthday last Friday. I didn't do anything really exciting. I went to Disneyland (free pass on my birthday) with Lauren (she has an annual pass). It was fun, we went at night because I had a final that day so I couldn't skip. We went on a few rides, ate clam chowder in a sourdough bread, stopped by Sephora in Downtown Disney and then left around eleven because Lauren had to work in the morning. It was very cold but worth it to see fireworks and Christmas decorations. On Saturday I had dinner with my family, where I ordered my first drink.
My friends and I had decided that we will have one big celebration (probably Vegas) when we all turn twenty-one. So either in June next year or in December, it depends on who we will wait for. Right now we are planning a trip to go to the Grand Canyon skywalk. We're doing the Asian tour bus because it's cheaper and we won't have to drive. So we'll be going to Grand Canyon, do some cowboy activities and then one night in Vegas. We'll probably be subjected to eating Chinese food for all meals and having a Mandarin/Cantonese/Taiwanese/bad English tour guide. It should be fun, I haven't been to Vegas in a few years.
Today Clara and I bought over $100 worth of alcohol with my new found power (that's what Tiffany called it). It was that expensive because of the very large bottle of Grey Goose. Clara paid for it because I don't drink too much and I don't think alcohol is worth buying. I rather spend money on makeup, perfume or this really
lovely YSL ring. But anyway, tomorrow we're having brunch, Belgian waffles (I bought Clara a waffle maker for Christmas!), eggs, maple syrup breakfast sausages and mimosa. It's going to be delicious.
