I realized a few days ago that I forgot to post pictures of the Dead Man's Bones show I went to on October 30th. So here it is.

Clara and I got there really early so I was standing in the front center. It was really amazing because most of the time I'm off to side. They were really good live and so was the choir. Ryan and Zach would help them out from time to time and it was really cute.

I didn't know what Zach Shields (the other half of Dead Man's Bones) looked like so when we were standing in line we didn't know who "the really good looking guy that keep passing us" was. But omg, he is so handsome and way more good looking than Ryan Gosling. I swooned and he's such a GQMF. We waited after the show and we got a picture with him. He looks much better in person than in my photos. We wanted to wait for Ryan but there was a costume party/dance after the show so we decided to leave.

Overall, it was a really amazing show. The only part I didn't like was when the zombie brides did their dance when they played 'My Body is a Zombie for You' because they had to push us back so they had room to dance. And after that one of the zombie brides took my spot in the font and completely blocked me. She was so tall and had big hair.

Sorry for the crappy quality. I used my old, old camera because I wasn't sure if they checked for camers or not. They don't so I'm going to make a mental note of that.

I'm going next week no matter what! I haven't been to Gallery 1988 in a long time and it would be nice to shop on Melrose. I just have to round up my friends, we're all Lost fans so it should be easy.

It's A Small World at Disneyland

I am alive. I just don't know what to write anymore. But I do check here daily and read everyone's post but without commenting. I'll probably leave comments after Friday when I'm done with my finals.

I celebrated my twenty-first birthday last Friday. I didn't do anything really exciting. I went to Disneyland (free pass on my birthday) with Lauren (she has an annual pass). It was fun, we went at night because I had a final that day so I couldn't skip. We went on a few rides, ate clam chowder in a sourdough bread, stopped by Sephora in Downtown Disney and then left around eleven because Lauren had to work in the morning. It was very cold but worth it to see fireworks and Christmas decorations. On Saturday I had dinner with my family, where I ordered my first drink.

My friends and I had decided that we will have one big celebration (probably Vegas) when we all turn twenty-one. So either in June next year or in December, it depends on who we will wait for. Right now we are planning a trip to go to the Grand Canyon skywalk. We're doing the Asian tour bus because it's cheaper and we won't have to drive. So we'll be going to Grand Canyon, do some cowboy activities and then one night in Vegas. We'll probably be subjected to eating Chinese food for all meals and having a Mandarin/Cantonese/Taiwanese/bad English tour guide. It should be fun, I haven't been to Vegas in a few years.

Today Clara and I bought over $100 worth of alcohol with my new found power (that's what Tiffany called it). It was that expensive because of the very large bottle of Grey Goose. Clara paid for it because I don't drink too much and I don't think alcohol is worth buying. I rather spend money on makeup, perfume or this really lovely YSL ring. But anyway, tomorrow we're having brunch, Belgian waffles (I bought Clara a waffle maker for Christmas!), eggs, maple syrup breakfast sausages and mimosa. It's going to be delicious.

Comic Con four day passes are sold out! For this year's Comic Con it didn't sell out until February. I'm blaming crazy unwanted Twilight fans. Ugh. Oh well, I wasn't sure if I was going to go next year but I would like to have the option of going. (And if I didn't want to go I can get a refund on my passes and hotel.) This really bums me out and it feels weird to not go because I went four years straight. I'm such a nerd.

Comic Con is so different than the first time I went in 2006. It was so chill and uncrowded. Now, you have to get in line at 5am and fight off the crowds. It's getting too popular. :/
