Marc Jacobs 'Duffy' in black/silver
My mom bought this a few weeks ago and we're going to share. I remember seeing this bag and other variations of it and thought it was ridiculous. But when my mom picked it up and I tried it on my arms I was in love. It is a very unique bag and I love how large the bag is. It was on sale for $900 and the retail price was around $2,400. So it's a really good deal. The Marc Jacobs Kristina bag I bought was even cheaper that day ($324+tax vs. $494+tax). So I bought that one, switched the tags and returned the more expensive one. Win! I want to thank everyone who bought something from me, especially stephanine and lesreveurs. I made around $400 so far and I have so much more to sell. :)

I'm not suppose to buy anything because Comic Con is coming up and I don't have a job but... I bought a few things: F21 floral dress, Little Rooms stork scissors ring and white vneck from H&M, Tara McPherson 'Lost Constellations' and Are You There Vodka? It's me, Chelsea by Chelsea Lately Handler. This should be it until August and I have a big wishlist.

I'm in the process of cleaning my room and things are not going away! I just want to start in a brand new room so I don't have to deal with everything. If only it was that easy.

I don't know how to explain this but I watched the last two episodes of The Hills. I was really bored and I recently acquired a small love for Lauren Conrad. I think it's because she carries Rebecca Minkoff bags, especially the studded fling and the studded rocker and she's wearing the Miu Miu shoes that I really, really want. The show is very awkward and I had to fast forward through some of it because of Spencer Pratt's flesh-colored beard. I think I might tune in for the new season to see how much Kristin Cavallari fail. I'm really glad that Lauren is getting out now and I really hope the best for her.

Lately, all I can think about is buy, buy, buy. I really shouldn't because I spent too much at the Rebecca Minkoff sample sale (pictures and a Rebecca Minkoff post in the near future). I'm already planning what I hope to get at the fall/winter sample sale. I'm hoping for a C Ya Later in lemon and maybe consider the regular size of the Morning After. Although that bag is a like a luggage for me but it might work out. Right now I really, really want the the studded rocker in papaya and a "boobjob fund" pouch (haha). I need a job first though and it's so difficult to find one right now.

I'm dreaming of this top. I really wish I went through the clothing rack thoroughly because I don't know if this top was at the sale. There's one small and one medium. I knew I couldn't buy anything else so I didn't look really closely. But since everything is 20% off for the last day of the sale I think I can buy it if I could drive out to LA. But I have to go back early to Riverside for a ~church concert~ for my music class. So I'm most likely not going.

I woke up this morning at 8am for the Balenciaga sale on Ruelala. Balenciaga rarely goes on sale so I was really excited. They only had a few bags, wallets and colors. I didn't get anything because it was still kind of pricey. It was only about $100-$200 cheaper. I didn't think my mother wanted anything but when I called her at noon she said to me, "why didn't you get me anything?" Haha.

There was also a Marc by Marc Jacobs sale at 9am on Gilt but I didn't know so I went back to sleep. I was suppose to get up at at that time but I ended getting up at 10am. I really wish I check my email before I went back to sleep because (omg!) they had the Alessandra dress I wanted for months now. It's a really cute dress that Blair wore in an episode of Gossip Girl. They had size 4 available but it was in someone's shopping cart. So I kept refreshing for twenty minutes but sadly that person bought it. :( I put myself on the waitlist for size 4 and 6 but I don't think I would get it. They have it in brown/navy but the other color is nicer. It's $168 and I would had totally bought it and it would be the most expensive clothing I ever bought.

I'm getting a refund from the city of Riverside because I contested against my ticket and I won! I totally misunderstood the letter they sent me and I thought they were only refunding me $20 but they're refunding me $305!!! I called in today and they said that I should be getting my check soon. Yayyyy!!! This must be a sign that I should buy something at Rebecca Minkoff sample sale next week.

I've been refreshing the NYC sample sale page over and over at the Purse forum non-stop. I'm so jealous that NYC get the sale first but I'm glad that LA is not last (like SF). The clothes are also on sale and I really want want the deep v dress even though I don't think I can ever wear it because of the back. But the back is why I love the dress. I'm really excited for next week, I wish it come sooner.

I wore this on Friday to class. While walking around on campus, this girl said to me, "You look so beautiful." I felt so flattered and I hope she really meant it. After she said that I decided that I must take a picture of my outfit and post it over at chictopia and I hope I make it into the style gallery. I feel so embarrassed to share this because I have some self-image issues and I feel like such a failure...I will share that another day.

I went to Brea mall today and whenever I'm at Nordstrom I would stop by the purse section and look for Rebecca Minkoff's bags. I would stand there and try on the bags and it would just make me so happy that Brea is carrying her bags. I love her so much and one day I will explain why. I carried my Morning After Mini in black stonewash today and I was standing there and the sale associate started talking about her bags and she noticed mine. She asked when how long I had it and talked about the tie-dye bag, it was very brief. Whenever I carry out my RM bags, I always check the real life sightings thread at the purse forum to see if anyone spotted me but no one had so far.

I watched Mirrors with my mother and it's pretty lame. But I love how Kiefer Sutherland's character is kind of similar to Jack Bauer on 24. I love when he said, "Don't make me threaten you." Then later storming in with a gun and forcing someone against their wish. Classic Jack Bauer.
